El encuentro propuso un diálogo en torno a la edición como práctica colaborativa, abordando las relaciones entre archivo, fotografía y publicación independiente. A partir de la experiencia del proyecto, se reflexionó sobre la circulación de imágenes hechas por mujeres y la importancia de generar espacios editoriales y curatoriales que amplifiquen estas miradas.
La conversación también abordó los cruces entre plataformas digitales y materialidades impresas, situando al libro como una extensión del archivo en línea y como un dispositivo para activar lecturas colectivas.
In this public conversation, the author and editor of INDEX. Liberating the Archive shared insights into the development and publication of the book, as well as the significance of the Femgrafía platform and the role of photography in shaping new visual references.
The discussion centered on publishing as a collaborative practice, exploring the intersections between archive, photography, and independent publishing. Drawing from the project’s experience, the participants reflected on the circulation of images created by women and the importance of building editorial and curatorial spaces that amplify these perspectives.
The conversation also addressed the relationship between digital platforms and printed materiality, positioning the book as both an extension of an online archive and a tool for activating collective readings.
