Después de que una enorme polilla aparece inesperadamente en su habitación, Megan Pryce comienza a investigar su presencia y descubre la oscura reputación que la acompaña: se dice que anuncia la muerte. A través de una secuencia de dibujos realizados a lo largo de un año, el fanzine reconstruye los recuerdos de aquel encuentro y sigue una obsesión que crece silenciosamente, explorando el punto donde el folclore, la imaginación y la ansiedad comienzan a confundirse.

An illustrated narrative about the fascination with Ascalapha odorata, commonly known as the “Black Witch,” a nocturnal moth surrounded by myths and superstitions. After an enormous moth unexpectedly appears in her bedroom, Megan Pryce begins investigating its presence and discovers the dark reputation attached to it: it is said to herald death. Through a sequence of drawings made over the course of a year, the zine reconstructs the memories of that encounter and follows an obsession that quietly grows, exploring the point where folklore, imagination, and anxiety begin to blur.
