Entre fragmentos poéticos y términos clínicos, la publicación reflexiona sobre el dolor de la separación —comparado con un “miembro fantasma”—, la lucha con la comida como metáfora del vacío emocional, y los patrones afectivos heredados de la familia. También cuestiona el contraste entre desear ser tratada con ternura y la dificultad de aceptar el cuidado cuando finalmente llega.
Con un tono íntimo y vulnerable, el libro construye un retrato honesto de la experiencia de necesitar al otrx, para cerrar con un gesto de autocuidado y una despedida amorosa dirigida hacia unx mismx.
003: Esta es una historia que empieza con hambre explores emotional dependency and affective longing through a collage of texts, definitions, and personal reflections. The zine addresses the intensity of the desire for connection and its physical and emotional manifestations, revealing how love, absence, and lack can be felt in the body.
Blending poetic fragments with clinical language, the publication reflects on the pain of separation—compared to a “phantom limb”—the struggle with food as a metaphor for emotional emptiness, and the affective patterns inherited from family. It also questions the contrast between yearning to be treated with kindness and the difficulty of accepting care when it finally arrives.
With an intimate and vulnerable tone, the book offers an honest portrait of the experience of needing another person, ultimately closing with a gesture of self-care and a loving farewell addressed to oneself.
