Entre referencias a Clarice Lispector, la cultura popular, la diáspora, el análisis y los Muppets, el libro construye una reflexión íntima atravesada por preguntas políticas sobre el s!onismo, el colonialismo y el g4nocidio en Palestina. La experiencia personal se convierte así en un espacio desde el cual pensar las relaciones entre memoria, violencia, pertenencia y resistencia.
The Muppet Show. Vol. 1 brings together a series of poems in which Ronit Guttman Berditchevsky explores memory, friendship, grief, psychoanalysis, and Jewish identity through a writing practice shaped by association, repetition, and digression. Like a VHS tape caught in a loop, the text returns again and again to the same names, images, and emotions, revealing how each return transforms their meaning.
Drawing on references to Clarice Lispector, popular culture, the Jewish diaspora, psychoanalysis, and the Muppets, the book develops an intimate reflection informed by political questions surrounding Z!onism, colonialism, and the g4nocide in Palestine. In doing so, personal experience becomes a space from which to examine the relationships between memory, violence, belonging, and resistance.
